Our Story
San Marin Animal Hospital’s story is one built on friendship, mentorship, and a shared passion for animal care.
In May 2015, Bennett and Williams Veterinary Corporation purchased the hospital, bringing together a partnership that began years earlier. Dr. Jeff Williams first met Dr. Erin Bennett when she worked as a technician in a Southern Marin veterinary hospital. Inspired by Dr. Williams’ mentorship, Dr. Bennett pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Years later, their paths came full circle as they joined forces to lead San Marin Animal Hospital together.
Their vision for a collaborative, relationship-focused practice quickly grew with the addition of Dr. Monica Ortiz and Dr. Polly James, who shared their commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care. Together, this team has built a practice centered on trust, teamwork, and a deep dedication to the well-being of every patient. In November 2025, they partnered with Western Veterinary Partners to further elevate their client services and communication, ensuring an even more refined and exemplary experience.
